It is no surprise that when you are traveling, it is difficult to stay on track with being healthy. More often than not the gyms or groups I have found are very intense – pushing you beyond your limits regardless of what your body WILL do. The “No Pain No Gain” attitude isn’t for me, and I realize you need to push outside of your comfort zone. With chronic illness, my attitude is “No Pain, NO PAIN.”

I tend to do things slower and not push so hard and fast. I am grateful for what I can do, and yes, I want to be able to do more. It is too easy to get discouraged when so many fitness communities and businesses are using intense training and challenges to motivate people.

That style of workout may work for others, but for me, I need to modify the exercise; enter My Peak Challenge – an online program that admits not everyone has the same abilities, limits or physical health to handle the intense workouts. You have access to trainers, nutrition and a supportive community of PEAKERS that encourage you to do what you can with what you have. If you are looking for encouragement and workouts that are easy to do on the road – check them out.

*Disclaimer: We receive no compensation for any referrals to My Peak Challenge. It is just something I enjoy and thought others might as well.
