In September 2017, we were in Montgomery, Alabama and we were able to visit the Civil Rights Memorial. It was a sobering experience. We walked through and took in all of the imagery and stories. So many people denied civil rights, people that suffered at the hands of hatred and ignorance, the tears rolled.

We’ve never openly expressed in-depth our stance on human rights and racism because frankly, we didn’t think we HAD to because no decent human being would be a racist. We have realized in recent weeks that it is not enough not to be a racist, and it isn’t enough to consider racists to be inherently flawed as human beings. We must speak out against racists, bigots, and hatred. We must be ANTI-racist.

We must speak up for others who speak up but aren’t heard. We must confront our privileges and biases. We must face our complicit behavior. We must acknowledge the systemic racism, sexism, and bigotry in our world.

“We must take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” – Elie Wiesel

We stand with Black Lives Matter.

While human beings are valued differently based on the color of their skin, we have failed as a society.

We are ALLIES, and we will not tolerate hate on our page or in our lives.

Be well, and stay safe.

Yes, Our society has failed on so many levels on this front. It is one of things that America as a whole knows it exist but turns a blind eye to. By nature, I am a very friendly person and love to meet people from all over no matter of their race, color, or income. (This is why I like to RV) I am now RVing in my new Tiffin Motor coach in Myrtle Beach SC with a few other Youtubers, (RV Daydream) & (MarcsAdventures) and its is so sad, how many folks don’t talk or wave because of my skin color. Its heart braking because we are all of the same geno.. Human beings… And I would think we are of the same like minds because we are all RVing but some can’t get pass the color of a person skin. People who are racist lose out on what could be a positive experience for them and their families and me and mine. I’m glad that I had a chance to know you guys through your live drives and positive email interactions.. (Thank you Mr. David & Brenda Bott for the introduction} Two thumbs up on your post. You guys are golden in my book…
