e-Bikes, get em while they’re hot!

Sale pending…

Last December, we bought two premium electric bikes with the idea that we’d use them to slowly get back into biking since you can pedal with various levels of electric motor assist, or use the twist throttle when you’re tired of pedaling and just need to get home. 🙂

We have, however, rarely used them. Thus we are putting them up for sale in hopes someone else can make use of them at a drastic discount over the new retail cost.

Which e-Bikes you ask?  Only the top of the line and both with several upgrades!

Rad Rover with Upgrades – asking $1200
(Bike details at RadPowerBikes)

Includes:

$ 1,499.00 White Rad Rover: The Rad Rover is the big papa of e-Bikes. It comes stock with 4″ wide tires to make sure it’s got a sure footing on any terrain including sandy beaches, max speed of about 20 mph, with up to a 20 to 40 mile range depending on electric assist level.
$ 499.99 Extra Battery: Keep one battery on charge so you’re always ready to swap out and go again!
$ 80.00 Rear Rack: We envisioned using the bikes for quick store runs, so we wanted to make sure we had a spot to put our cargo.
$ 159.00 Full Fender: Rain or Shine, we wanted to stay mostly clean. The full fender gives great splash protection.
$ 22.99 Bike Cargo Bag: Along the same cargo carrying desire, we opted to add a cargo bag with expandable saddlebags.
$ 55.99 Tire Tube protection: We installed an extra layer of protection from thorns and stickums common in the desert southwest.
$ 19.99 Bike Headlight: We anticipated needing to brightly light our path for the ride at times. This headlight definitely fits the bill.
$ 39.99 Rear LED light with turn indication and side lasers: Visibility when riding at night is key. So we added this rear visibility light, turn indication and side clearance lasers to help keep motorists aware of our presence.
$ 15.99 Cell Phone Holder: You don’t want to have to stop and pull out your phone for directions or tunes, so we installed a cell phone holder on the handlebars.
$ 14.99 Inflation & patch kit: You can never be too prepared, so we added this CO2 Inflation and tire patch kit to the mix. No tiring out trying to pump the tire up, let a compressed CO2 canister take care of it!
$ 35.99 Alloy Steel Folding Bike Lock: With all this investment, you gotta protect it. The folding bike lock mounts directly on the bicycle and stays out of the way until you need it.
$ 18.97 Velcro bike cover: Since we need to store our bicycles outside, we opted to get a bike cover to keep rain and various droppings from tarnishing the stylish bike. The velcro straps underneath the bike keep the cover in place, even under high wind.
