A bit out of order, but here’s the earlier stream David and I did about Lithium Ion batteries.

I really enjoyed the live chat and it answered a few questions that I had on my mind. I think for the time being, I’m going to stick with the flooded lead acid batteries until I’m able to hit the road. Right now, the price, age of my present batteries (Only one year old in two weeks from now) and the fact that we store the coach in cold climates for months at a time, and when we do general travel, the coach is plugged up except for the short over nighters at Harvest Host or rest stops. From the chat, I think it would not be a wise move switch out right now. After next winter, we will be in the coach for at least 6 months out of the year, spending winter in warm climates (Snow Birds) and Boondocking a lot more. This would have me to believe that I should wait until then before going the route of Lithium. That being said, I will be blowing up your phone to help me figure out how to install these puppies..

    Hi Herbie,
Yes, your assessment seems spot on to me. Get the life out of the FLA’s until you’re full-time — great plan! Happy to help once you get to that point. 😀

    Glad you enjoyed the chat!
